Team Description: The three notes for an „harmonic triad“ are three kinds of public spaces bound together by a promenade. The Marktplatz, the market of Ideas will be complemented by a vertical market building and extended by the Nordkettenbalkon. Lui- the Laboratory of Urban Innovation is a plaza and pluralistic building complex with a startup center, workshops, ateliers, a co working hall and a residential building. With a amphib-theater it connects to the river Inn and with a living bridge over the river to Mariahilf. The Green Oasis creates a contemplative garden courtyard with a health and a well-being center as well as an intergenerational housing project. Together they go ‘All Inn’ to embrace the river, complement existing architecture, strengthen prevailing economic cycles and open the waterfront as a blank space for urban innovation and social collaboration.
Jury Statement: “The project is valued by the jury because of its robust urban method. It has a simple idea of three spaces and a classical approach: to reduce the size of the public square in order to open it very strategically at the important points, is plausible. […] The project is a traditional proposal with a clear structure of public spaces that are linked to programs."

Team Statement: "The three notes for an „harmonic triad“ are three kinds of public spaces bound together by a promenade. This development will complement existing with new architecture, strengthen prevailing economic cycles, embrace the Inn with an open waterfront as a blank space for urban innovation and social collaboration. Instead of urban sprawl this proposal aims for an inner densification and urban intensification. We hope we can contribute to Innsbruck’s public discussion to activate this intriguing site’s potential."
